Chennai, 20 May 2026: Miraggio, one of India’s leading handbag brands, has entered offline retail with its first standalone experiential store at VR Mall, Chennai. This milestone marks the brand’s strategic shift from a digital-first model to building a strong physical retail presence across India.
The store is designed as a full sensory experience, translating Miraggio’s contemporary design language into a calm, immersive environment. Built in soft creams and muted sand tones, the space is highlighted by diffused lighting and a sweeping oval ceiling feature that creates a dreamlike ambience. Curved walls with illuminated display niches enhance the visual appeal while encouraging customers to interact with the products.
Structured around a seamless “screen-to-store” journey, the store allows customers to transition from online discovery to in-person experience. Shoppers can explore the texture, form, and functionality of handbags and accessories firsthand, making the browsing experience more intuitive and engaging. The curated collection showcases versatile designs suitable for work, travel, and everyday use.
Commenting on the launch, Mohit Jain, Founder & CEO of Miraggio, said that the move into offline retail represents a major strategic milestone for the brand. He highlighted that while Miraggio has grown as a digital-first company, customer demand for a physical experience has been consistently strong. He added that India’s retail landscape still relies heavily on offline stores, making this expansion essential for deeper consumer connection and long-term brand growth.
Miraggio’s entry into physical retail comes at a time when global and Indian brands are increasingly focusing on expanding their offline presence in high-value markets. The company plans to open more than 10 stores across major metropolitan cities within the current financial year, with each store designed as a unique expression of the brand’s identity.
For Miraggio, these stores are more than just retail outlets—they are immersive brand spaces built on craft, design, and a philosophy centered on the modern Indian woman who moves through life with confidence and individuality.
