The Jamshedpur Chapter of the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) successfully organized its 18th Career Awareness Programme of the year 2025 on 16th Dec 2025 at Jamshedpur Women’s University, Jamshedpur.
The session was conducted by CS Surojit Bhumij, Former Chairman, ICSI Jamshedpur Chapter & Shri. Tapas Kumar Mazumdar, Office In-Charge, who represented the Institute and shared valuable insights on the pivotal role of Company Secretaries, the diverse career opportunities available, and the increasing global demand for governance professionals.
The programme witnessed the participation of around 150 enthusiastic students, who engaged actively in discussions on the CS course structure, career prospects, and the professional journey of a Company Secretary. Their curiosity and interactive involvement highlighted a strong interest in the profession.
These Career Awareness Programmes are part of ICSI’s nationwide initiative to promote awareness about the CS profession, encouraging young talent to pursue a career in corporate governance, compliance, and business leadership.
