Another New Research Paper of Dr Tapas Chatterjee Published on Poland River Aquatic Bugs
A Research paper where Dr Tapas Chatterjee an international scientist from Hirapur Dhanbad is a coauthor, published on 21.04.2026 in journal Ecological Montenegrina volume 97, pages 150 to 161 published from Montenegro. This article was on aquatic Hetroptera fauna, Aquatic Bugs from river of Poland River Karpil.
In this paper field work was done by Dr Andrzej Zawal (University of Szczecin, Poland) and other professors, scientists and researcher of various university of Poland. Dr Vladimir Pesic (Univ of Montenegro) is also another coauthor in this paper. Dr Andrzej Zawal, Dr Tapas Chatterjee and Dr Pesic and other researchers helped in analysis of ecological data and help to make ecological hypothesis.
A hydromorphological assessment of the river was also carried out for each of the research sites. Role of inorganic, organic, physical parameters were analysed.
Anthropogenic effect on water quality and faunal composition also analysed. Relationships between the presence of bugs and the analysed environmental parameters in individual stations were determined with the help of a principal component analysis and various ecological index.
Dr Tapas Chatterjee, an international famous researcher for his work on aquatic small organisms. He published 200 research papers in taxonomy and aquatic ecology. He has published research articles based on materials from more than 30 countries.
