Bokaro, October 2025: In line with the national mission of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd., has organized a special cleanliness campaign under “Swachhta Hi Sewa 2025” in the industrial zone of Bokaro district. Themed around “Clean Industrial Zone Initiative,” the drive aimed to promote awareness and collective responsibility towards cleanliness, health, and hygiene nearby DCBL, bokaro plant premises and it’s surrounding areas. The initiative was graced by several key dignitaries including Sri Sunil Kumar K. Bhusari, Unit Head, DCBL, Bokaro; Sri Pritam Raj, District Project officer – Namami Ganges, Bokaro; Sri Ashish Kumar Mahto, Block Project officer – Namami Ganges, Bokaro and Sri Amit Kumar, District Officer, UNICEF, Bokaro.

Commenting on the initiative, Shri Sunil Kumar K. Bhusari, Unit Head, DCBL, Bokaro, said, “At Dalmia Bharat, sustainability and community well-being are at the heart of everything we do. Through the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa 2025’ initiative, we aim to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and a collective sense of responsibility towards protecting our environment. This campaign reflects our continued commitment to building cleaner, greener, and healthier surroundings, not just for today but for future generations.”
The event witnessed the participation of over 50 participants, including officials and executives of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), along with representatives from the District Administration, Bokaro. The cleanliness drive involved road cleaning, waste removal, painting of road dividers, and general beautification of the industrial area including removal of bushes along the roadside. Awareness sessions were also conducted to emphasize the importance of maintaining hygiene and ensuring sustainable waste management practices. Through such initiatives, DBF continues to reaffirm its vision of fostering sustainable community development by promoting environmental stewardship and civic responsibility. By driving awareness and encouraging participation at the grassroots level, the Foundation remains committed to creating healthier and more resilient communities across its areas of operation.
