To mark World Polio Day, the Rotary Club of Dhanbad flagged off a city-wide e-rickshaw (toto) awareness rally on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Jeevan Jyoti School.
Outfitted with public awareness banners and loudspeakers, the fleet traversed major hubs and residential neighborhoods—including Bank More, Purana Bazar, Hirapur, and Saraidhela. The initiative aimed to take the vital message of regular polio immunization directly to doorsteps, urging parents to ensure every child under five receives the life-saving drops. Reaffirming Rotary International’s global mission, club members pledged to sustain active community outreach until global polio eradication is complete.
